中国中车压缩机发展历程
1906年 南口机械的前身，京张铁路维修基地成立，詹天佑先生首任厂长
1966年 **台*的活塞式机车压缩机装机，运行成功
1996年 与世界轴承制造企业SKF合资成立北京南口斯凯孚铁路轴承有限公司，引进先进的轴承制造技术
2002年 成功研制出铁路机车用螺杆压缩机
2004年 与美国英格索兰公司合作，生产螺杆转子，并于同年研制生产出SLK系列螺杆压缩机
2006年 与德国克诺尔合资，成功引进压缩机先进的制造技术
2007年 *的**个型号螺杆主机NSG178实现批量生产，能效达到国家标准化二级以上。同时自主生产的空气压缩机整机在集团公司各生产基地试运行
2008年 公司再接再厉，成功实现了新型螺杆主机NSG242D、NSG242S、NSG242DZ和NSG195等机型的相继研发与投产，填补了国内40m3以上*螺杆主机的空白
2009年 作为北车集团的一员成功上市；为国内多家空压机厂家贴牌生产空气压缩机
2013年 为了响应我国*的大构思，北车人正式将真正意义上民族品牌空压机推向市场化。
2015年 为推动中国高端装备制造进一步走向和加速转型，中国北车与南车进行合并，6月合并换股完成后正式挂牌更名为中国中车（英文缩写CRRC），我公司更名为中国中车北京南口机械有限公司。
